Terms of Service

By accessing or using the RUMO application and website (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

RUMO is a social prediction market platform that provides a mobile-first interface for interacting with Polymarket prediction markets. The Service includes:

• Browsing and discovering prediction markets via a swipe-based feed
• Quick Play — short-term crypto price prediction markets
• Social features including user profiles, following, and commenting
• Portfolio tracking with real-time positions and P&L data
• Deposit and withdrawal of funds via the Polymarket bridge

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using RUMO, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction. Prediction markets may be restricted or prohibited in certain jurisdictions. It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with local laws.

To access certain features, you must create an account using a supported authentication provider (e.g., Google, Apple, email). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. An embedded blockchain wallet may be automatically created for you through Privy. You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

RUMO provides an interface to Polymarket, a third-party decentralized prediction market platform. By using our Service to interact with prediction markets, you acknowledge and agree that:

• All trades are executed on Polymarket's smart contracts, not by RUMO
• Prediction market trading involves significant risk of loss
• Past performance does not guarantee future results
• You are solely responsible for your trading decisions
• Market outcomes are determined by Polymarket's resolution mechanisms
• RUMO does not provide financial, investment, or trading advice

RUMO facilitates deposits and withdrawals through the Polymarket bridge service. You acknowledge that:

• Deposits are converted to USDC.e on the Polygon network
• Minimum deposit/withdrawal thresholds apply
• Blockchain transactions are irreversible once confirmed
• Processing times depend on network conditions and third-party services
• RUMO is not responsible for delays, failures, or losses caused by third-party bridge services
• You are responsible for providing correct wallet addresses

You may post comments and other content through the Service. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with the Service. You agree not to post content that:

• Is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
• Contains spam, advertising, or solicitations
• Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
• Contains malicious code or phishing attempts
• Impersonates another person or entity
• Manipulates or attempts to manipulate market outcomes

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure
• Circumvent rate limits or security measures
• Create multiple accounts to manipulate the platform
• Engage in market manipulation or wash trading
• Use the Service to launder money or finance illegal activities

The Service and its original content (excluding user content), features, and functionality are owned by RUMO and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The RUMO name, logo, and branding are our trademarks.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

RUMO IS NOT A BROKER, EXCHANGE, OR FINANCIAL INSTITUTION. WE DO NOT CUSTODY YOUR FUNDS. ALL FUNDS ARE HELD IN SMART CONTRACTS ON THE POLYGON NETWORK THROUGH POLYMARKET.

Market data, prices, and statistics displayed in the Service are sourced from third parties (Polymarket, Binance) and may be delayed or inaccurate.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RUMO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, FUNDS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

THIS INCLUDES, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES ARISING FROM:

• Trading losses on prediction markets
• Failed or delayed deposits/withdrawals
• Incorrect market data or pricing
• Smart contract vulnerabilities or exploits
• Unauthorized access to your account
• Third-party service outages (Polymarket, Polygon, Privy)

You may delete your account at any time through the app. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your profile data, interactions, comments, and social connections will be permanently deleted. Blockchain transactions and positions on Polymarket are not affected by account deletion.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or via email. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
