RUMO ("we," "us," or "our") operates the RUMO mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service. By using RUMO, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Account Information. When you sign up, we collect your email address and authentication provider (e.g., Google, Apple). We use Privy for authentication, which may create an embedded blockchain wallet on your behalf.

Profile Information. You may optionally provide a display name, username, bio, and avatar image.

Usage Data. We collect information about how you interact with the Service, including swipe actions (yes/no/skip), dwell time on markets, categories of interest, and browsing patterns. This data is used to personalize your feed.

Blockchain Data. Your Polygon wallet address and on-chain activity (positions, trades, balances) are publicly available on the blockchain. We read this data to display your portfolio and statistics.

Device & Log Data. We automatically collect IP address, browser type, operating system, and access timestamps for security and analytics purposes.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• Personalize your prediction market feed based on your preferences and interactions
• Display your trading statistics and portfolio from Polymarket
• Process deposits and withdrawals via the Polymarket bridge
• Enable social features (following, comments, likes)
• Send important service updates and notifications
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
• Comply with legal obligations

We integrate with the following third-party services:

• Privy — authentication and embedded wallet creation
• Polymarket — prediction market data, trading, positions, and bridge services
• Polygon Network — blockchain transactions and USDC.e balance queries
• Binance — cryptocurrency price data
• Google reCAPTCHA — spam and bot protection
• Amazon S3 — avatar image storage
• Vercel Analytics — anonymous usage analytics

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway. Cached data is temporarily stored in Redis. We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), secure authentication tokens, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time through the app, which will permanently remove your profile, interactions, comments, likes, and follow relationships. Blockchain transactions are immutable and cannot be deleted.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Object to or restrict certain processing activities
• Data portability

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. Google reCAPTCHA may set cookies for bot detection. Vercel Analytics collects anonymous, aggregated usage data without personally identifying you.

RUMO is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
